About Us
Our story
Clay Connections was created by Robert Ward-Dutton and Simon Sutton, who have worked in the shooting world for most of their lives.
They decided to create a club, Clay Connections, using their experience to enhance members shooting and networks. They had found many of their clients didn’t have time to source their own shooting, some didn’t know how to access certain aspects of the sport and others didn’t have the connection to people to shoot with.
Rob and Simon have been making that happen for years and have guided many clients into the sport or assisted with enhancing their shooting, in one way or another.
Bringing likeminded people together is also benefitting members businesses, they have seen it happen first hand and feel it is wonderful to bring the aspects of shooting and business together.
Grow your business
Opportunities are given to members to promote their business at events and through other avenues. We find that combining this, alongside shooting with other likeminded people, can help enhance business growth for all members.
Enjoy it
As the strap line says, the club is there to “enhance its members shooting, social and business connections”, it doesn’t however, have to do all this, if its just one element that a member is looking to enhance, then so be it. We want our members to enjoy being part of Clay Connections and to take what they want from it.
Clay Connections welcome everyone, male or female, whether they are already keen shots or have never shot before. Our members are a mix of game shots, clay shots and non shooting people. We offer access to many aspects of shooting along with advice, tuition and experiences to grow members shooting and business opportunities.
