TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Membership of Clay Connections Ltd entitles the member to attend the scheduled monthly events.

Standard members can book onto events via the events page on the website. Premium members have their space guaranteed at their ‘home’ venue. This venue is determined at the start of the membership. The membership includes 10 clay shoots per year, one per month. There will be no clay shoots in the months of January and August. It is the member’s responsibility to book onto event if they have purchased a standard membership. There are limited spaces at all events, if the event is full and there are no spaces, a member cannot book on. Members of Clay Connections Ltd will be entitled to receive additional benefits and access to other events. These are charged for accordingly and are not mandatory. Addition event fees will be due on booking via the website event page. No refunds will be issued if a member decides to cancel or not attend.

2. Clay Connections has the right to terminate any member’s membership at any time.

Terminated Memberships will mean that the member will receive the value of £50+vat per singular, monthly clay shoots, that they will now be unable to attend during their membership period. For instance, if a member joins for February and has attended 4 of the regular monthly shoots, they will receive a figure of £300+vat for the 6 shoots that they will now not be able to attend. This payment will be subject to the terminated member supplying their bank details. Their membership will cease and no more payments from the end date will be taken.

Members wishing to leave Clay Connections Ltd of their own accord can do so immediately with no charges. No reimbursement of any money will be returned to the member if they wish to leave of their own choice.

3. In the event of cancellation or suspension to the monthly meet event, due to bad weather, Clay Connections Ltd will not credit or refund the membership charge for the event. It is likely that breakfast and the meeting would still take place. If the regular monthly event dates have to be altered for any reason, thus meaning a member cannot now attend, no credit or refund will be issued to that member.

In the event of cancellation or suspension to optional events at various other venues, Clay Connections Ltd will refund or credit members with costs once the external venue has refunded Clay Connection Ltd first.

4. Other than the general Clay Connections Ltd materials, members cannot use the Clay Connections Ltd property such as logos, slogans and material for promoting, selling or hosting without obtaining written consent from Clay Connections Ltd.

5. It is the responsibility of ever member with an in date shotgun certificate to ensure that they have their own relevant insurance.

6. Members must be responsible for their own safety at events.

7. Members of Clay Connections Ltd are expected to always wear safety glasses and ear protection at any clay shooting event.

8. Members of Clay Connections Ltd are advised to wear Headwear at any clay shooting event.

9. All members should acknowledge that when out shooting, whether clays, game or any other, that there are risks of potential bodily harm. All members must acknowledge the ‘assumption of risk’ and waive any claims against Clay Connections Ltd for injuries sustained when on a shoot or any event.

10. Members must acknowledge that any additional costs for food and drink at venues are at their personal expense.

11. Members are allowed to bring a guest with them at any clay connection event. Guests will be allowed to attend two monthly meetings a year before a membership is required for future attendance. The cost charged for members will be according to which event that they are attending. Values between monthly meets and game shooting events can differ considerably. Guests have to be pre booked and approved by Clay Connections prior to attending any event.

12. We will only contact your Emergency Contact details in emergency situations involving you, the member. Their details will not be used for advertising or any other purpose.

Code of Conduct

13. All members of Clay Connections Ltd are required to adhere to a code of behavior. Acts of abusive behavior, public intoxication, arrest, unlawful activities and general lewd acts will result in immediate expulsion and termination of their membership.

14. Members of Clay Connections Ltd should always act with respect and dignity towards all individuals.

Members are expected to uphold the integrity of the brand Clay Connections Ltd, whether in public or at shooting events and circles which they mix in.

Members are expected to respect other members and their businesses. Members should refrain from criticising other individuals and their businesses to others. Their issues should be taken up privately and solely with that said individual.

15. Members of Clay Connections Ltd are asked to book with venues through Clay Connections Ltd. This will allow members to gain access to better deals and to keep the reputation of Clay Connections Ltd with the suppliers, offering further gains to the group.

16. Be respectful to others when posting on Social Media. If you wish to promote Clay Connections Ltd via your personal social media, you should ensure that images and posts will not be viewed in a negative way, even if it is not an intention to do so. If in doubt about the appropriateness of a post or image, please refrain from posting it, or check with Clay Connections Ltd.

17. Members will be asked to join Clay Connections Ltd on social media. This is at your discretion. Some Social Media groups will be closed off to members only. Others will be public. If you are wanting to join private non public groups, please check with Clay Connections Ltd to ensure you are happy with what others can see of your profiles.

18. If you have issues with other members breaking any codes of conduct, you should write to, or email, Clay Connections Ltd with your concerns and explanations. If you have any supporting evidence of these issues, they should also be sent.

In certain circumstances, some members may have memberships suspended while an internal investigation takes place. Clay Connections Ltd will request the defendant provide their information regarding the accusation and this will be considered.

Both members will be informed in writing the outcome of each dispute.

Final decisions will be at the prerogative of the founders of Clay Connections Ltd.
